Marmox Insulation Board are easy to use – they can be cut with a Stanley knife in a similar way to plaster board and are affixed to the floor in an interlocking layout (similar to a brick wall). The following methods should be used to affix to the sub floor:-
• Concrete Subfloor - Tile adhesive
• Timber Subfloor – Tile adhesive then galvanized screws and washers.
Once secured to the subfloor, the joints between the pieces of insulation board are sealed using plasterboard adhesive / scrim tape.
